Lapland: A Long-Awaited, Magical Return! ❄️

Well, I am back from Lapland, where I have been delivering private sittings, teaching, and doing a public demonstration of Mediumship. I stayed on a little longer to enjoy the sights with my husband, Shaun.
I first visited Elves Village in Levi in June 2024 and had planned to return in January 2025. However, due to complications in Shaun's heart operation recovery, we had to cancel. So, this has been a long-awaited return.
We flew out on 13th November. This date marked the first direct flight from Manchester to Kittilä and, coincidentally, the first day of snow there!
We were greeted by the lovely and wonderful Timo, my translator for the weekend's events. The schedule was packed: private sittings on Friday, a workshop on Saturday, and a demonstration with a Question and Answer session on Saturday evening. Sunday continued with the workshop, and Monday included more private sittings.
On Sunday, I had a feeling we would see the Northern Lights. We have never seen them before, even when they were visible over the skies of Manchester.
My feeling was correct, but I never anticipated the actual beauty and feeling of the aurora lights. We were staying in the Aurora Pyramids at Elves Village, which are glass all around, allowing you to see the sky and stars from your bed.
It was about 11:50 PM when Shaun got my attention at what looked like light beams. We took pictures and were amazed by the fact that colours appeared and shifted. We had never seen anything like it and kept taking photos as they changed.
As time went on, the green blanket covered the skies around the pyramid. At this point, I ran outside into the -25^\circ\text{C} weather to get some more pictures. There was a feel and a sound I cannot explain—it felt like electromagnetic energy. I took as many pictures as I could. I tried to video and use different camera functions before my hands froze! I used my Samsung smartphone, and could only use the standard camera; the fancy functions would not show the colours in the sky.
It lasted until 1:00 AM, and we felt so privileged to witness such a display. I know some people travel specifically to see them and may never actually get the chance.
I put the pictures on the Visit Lapland Facebook page, and it has become one of the most viewed and interacted posts in that group!
The weekend was just magical, filled with healing and synchronicity in all that happened with the sitters, students, and the audience in the demonstration. Some things I had never experienced before! We even got a tour around Santa's new house and visitors' centre.
The power of Spirit is evolutionary, and being open to that potential is really quite incredible. I would like to thank all involved in the experience.
Thank You & Next Steps
A special thank you to Esa and Maarit who kindly showed us around the sights of Levi and Kittilä, giving us a real experience and some downtime. We stayed at the Hullo Poro Hotel, which was also very welcoming and had lovely staff.
I didn't mention that the weekend we went was one of the busiest for skiing as it was the World Cup being held in Levi. So, everywhere was filled with supportive and avid ski groups.
Finland is a country close to my heart in many ways—the place and the people especially. It truly feels like a home from home. I will be visiting Tampere in February 2026 and back to Lapland in June 2026 and am very much looking forward to it.
It was a very special week, starting with my new song, "Do You Care?", being released and reaching No. 7 (now No. 4) on the Distrokid Dance Chart through public votes!
To top it off with a magical stay in Lapland has me feeling very grateful.
My first job when I get home, after seeing my lovely parents and picking up our old boy dog, Archie, is one-to-one teaching and planning a wedding service for a December ceremony. ✨
